One evokes the eternal, one evokes the temporary. One is vast, seems intangible, yet changes composition moment by moment. One is finite, tangible, has the appearance of permanence but slowly decays over time. Perhaps a relationship exists between the two, where the eternal communicates to the temporary, and the temporary longs for the eternal. The Stone and Sky collection explores this theme.
