The summer collection

a collection of pastel paintings

I have slowly been working on a collection of pastel paintings over this quarantine Summer. This collection is inspired by past travels and timeless beauty. With each piece, I sought to paint with both my eyes and my heart. One thing working on this collection has taught me is that there is always beauty when you look for it.

International shipping

I currently offer international shipping to Canada, Europe and Australia.

- The artwork will be shipped flat in a box, protected behind glassine paper and inside a rigid foam board portfolio cover.
- For international orders, customer is responsible for paying any related duties and taxes.
- Each order is handled with great care and transparency, therefore each order is treated as final sale except for certain situations.

Framing
- The oil pastel works would look lovely framed floated and mounted to show off the deckled edges.

 - I currently do not offer framing in-house, however I regularly work with my clients to frame their new artwork using Framebridge. If you recently purchased a piece and are interested in framing with Framebridge, please email info@bethanycochran.com.

- The soft pastel works would look lovely framed with a wide mat and metallic colored frame. Because the white edges of the pastel paper do get slightly tinted with pigment while I am painting, a mat would provide a cleaner presentation.
